Just Launched: The Moonwatch in White!
Hi Friends & Fellow Watch Enthusiasts!
In case you haven't seen it yet, Omega launched a line extension to their iconic Speedmaster collection. It's a collection that is so iconic amongst geeks like myself that they are rarely able to modify it because the purists would revolt!
This is a legendary moment for watch nerds today with the addition of the new white dial. The black hands and markers make it extremely legible and the red second hand tip and name logo really make it pop!
- Andy
Inspired by astronaut suits and the iconic ALASKA I prototype from 1969, the white dial of the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional includes contrasting black details and a glossy laqcquered finish - the first ever on a Moonwatch step dial.
The red Speedmaster name and red tip on the seconds hand really stand out against the white dial. Inspiration comes from the protective case on the ALASKA I watch, as well as the red Commander stripes on astronaut suits.
